Meri umar ab 74 saal h 😊 Yhe gana saari purani yaadeion taro taza kr deta h... Jb hum dono oct. 1973 me ek sath the.... Aaj to yhe h lekin humsafar nhi 😊
i think from 1945 to 1965 Shamsad Begum.Suraiya,Noojahan,Md:Rafi.Mukesh.Lata Ji,Asha,Kishor Kumar and other Singer as their songs are immortal, this will be the golden era in Indian history.
Though Devji wanted to act and sing this song as a duet Raj Khosla advised him to simply walk in this song without any overaction ! This became success for this pleasant song!
Shot at Worli sea front by late Raj Khosla for Guru Dutt productions. The man on harmonium is late Guru Dutt's assistant Shyam Kapoor who played the role of Guru Dutt's mean friend in Pyasa. The dancer is magnificent Sheila Vaz. Those were the days. OP Nayyar, Majrooh, Rafi and Shamshad Begum rocked it.
Let me say it confidently that in happy mode songs no one can compete Shamshad begum voice . Although Rafi ji , Lata Ji, Asha ji are more ahead and more famous than Shamshad but in duets with Shmashad all the legend voices go in the back ground and Shamshad's crystal clear and crispy voice occupies in the ears. she was really unique.
Rafi's "Ahah" in the middle of the song is such a great touch! Also, I know Asha is singing in a different mood but she just pales as compared to Shamshad's zesty/mischievous style. Rafi is of course Rafi, in full form here.
Legend Mohd Rafi Sahab The Master Voice of Bharat! Goonj ti hai aap ki Awaaz aaj bhi Bharat ke har kone mein, zinda ho aap har Bharati ke dil mein! Legend Forever......
Rafiji's voice is of highest quality for it was straight from God! No voice can ever come near his. I have personally seen this in Kanteerava stadium Bengaluru in 1970
Yes ,I remember , in my collage days from 1964 to 1968 ,we even boys starred at Devansnd in movie we saw . Fir females ki तो बात ही क्या होगी उस waqt , jab ,boys bhi mesmerized ho jate थे Devanand ko dekh ke on screen .
Super, super hit song of golden era superhit film C. I. D. Sungs sweetly by Rafiji, Shamshad Begum and Ashaji, composed superbly by the great music director O. P. Nayyar ji, danced superbly by Sheela Vaz.
Hearing this beautiful song since 1958,when I was eight yrs.I didnot forget even a single words of song.My late grand father,my parents now my childrens also like it.I have explained my view before legend Dev sahib on 2nd December 1971 at Rooptara studio Dadar Mumbai
Some years ago I don't know who is dev anand and my dad always used to tell me why I am walking or take pics like dev anand 😂 Now I realised why he told me that 😂😅
What a beautiful Song with the perfect lyrics, extraordinary expression of all actors with a magical voice, sweet music I have lost my self in that era
Watching these triggers my philosophical mind to think about the nature of time, the nature of change, the nature of universe and cosmos and most importantly about the our profound entanglement with the time we live in. No wonder these are marvellous gems in the history of world cinema but what drags me more towards these is the time content in them.
Yah gana Maine pahile bar Dandiya khelte waqt sunatha, gane ki lyrics Jaise mere kanon per padhte the Waise Mai Dandiya khelana bhul gya... Iske lyrics ne mujhe yahan Tak laya .. Nice song...❤
What a beautiful and evergreen song picturised on Marine Drive, Mumbai, music by none other than the legendary MD Omkar Prasad Nayyar, beautifully penned by the very popular and famous lyricist Majrooh Sultapuri, sung by the one and only Mohd.Rafi and Shamshad Begum, the Pashto singing sensation , picturised on Evergreen Dev Anand and the beautiful and talented actress Shakila. Hats off to the entire unit and the team, the director of the film.
Radio Ceylon used to play this song frequently and kept it alive for a long time whrn youtube was non existant. An indelible piece of art that keeps Shamshad begum, Sakeela and Sheela alive in memory.
❤Jo gana gane ki acting kar rahi hai, vo bhi kam nahi h. Nice song. Acting karne ki actress parhaps Raj Kapoor ki picture ke song mein dekha tha..Ramaiya vasta vaiya, mene dil tujh ko diya.❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Lady who is performing This song how cute she is if she was born in this Era no-one can matchup her expressing skills but that time every actor actress were highly talented maybe that's why she didn't became leading actress

In my teenage years in 1970s I was enjoying these melodious songs even without food as messing facilities were not available and I am in the same footing at the closing years of my life. These are eternal priceless gems. Thanks for sharing.
