I remember the audience in theatre was shocked by seeing this scene. No one expected this movie to be so horrifying, disturbing and so much dark crime film. A very underrated but one of the best crime films in Indian cinema.
Most amazing thing is - Prashant had no reference for this acting because it was such a unique role. He did all the acting of that killer by himself . Creativity and acting talent . Just brilliant 👌👌
To be honest his role was inspired from the movie "chaser" and "silence of the lambs" Murder 2 was a remake of "the chaser" And prasant's role was more over similar to silence of the lamb's villain. Still Prashant nailed the role with perfection ❤️

Silence of Lambs was based on Hannibal Lecter , who was a cannibal in essence - so it has nothing to do with sexuality which was there in Murder 2 . I think you are right when you say the story was based on Chaser , but then not the act . Acting of an Indian pschotic trans sexual person has only being done one other time in Indian cinema and that was also after the release of Murder 2 .
@@vedantojha7351 dude I said the villain , Hannibal wasn't the villain in silence of the lambs ( if you could remember the villain who abducts free will women in SOTL had also chopped of his genitals and also went above his/ her sexuality And there's so many references as similar to prasant's character when it was clearly a remake of "the chaser" kudos to narayan's acting tho
Prashant is undoubtedly at par with late irfan khan sir and Kk menon but his voice is more fascinating and mesmerising. I never found such a good voice in any of the actors. I just love his voice. His acting is out of this world. I have been following him since he acted in Doordarshan serials
I remember seeing this movie as a kid. I mean except the rated scenes thanks to my parents lol. I swear till this day when I remember the villain and all the girls he had killed, shivers run through my whole spine. Amazing acting.
Prashant narayan..He used to act in tv serial. Then movies. Brilliant actor like nawajuudin, irfan, kk menon, manoj vajpayee etc but he did not get good roles and movies

He is one of my favourite actor. I saw him in a serial which was aired on Doordarshan. That serial probably used to come in the 90s, since then I love his acting.

people like him and Ashutosh Rana deserve more in Bollywood... they can do any kind of roles with ease yet are left as secondary characters in movies..
