I normally enjoy hearing Vineet bhais observations. But today he went way too overboard on how great life in west is and how bad it is in india...yes for lower denominators of society and/or blue collar folks with a bad family situation, maybe yes but definitely not for all. AND ppl who earn 1 L in india are earning 30L per month in US is BS..avg salary in USA is 5000 USD per month and they dont give visas to blue collar ppl from india,,lot of white collar labour ends up doing blue collar jobs in europe aus because they dont get jobs depending on their qualifications. I have a PhD in tech field, have lived abroad for 16 years in europe and I returned back to my roots in india in 2021,,salaries in india are almost similar to what europe pays, for my role...west me bhi bahut problems hai, its not like life is a bed of roses- lots of compromises have to be done. and you are wrong- ppl in developed countries of sweden, germany canada these days have turned off heaters in winter at home to save power bills just like indians...inflation is at its highest here... homelessness is on the rise, and nobody has seen the future,,,life in west is also in a steep decline and standard of living in west also has declined terribly in a relative sense as per capita income and purchasing power is decreasing of the locals in west (as compared to 80s or 90s)..i do agree that family values and close knit relationships in families of india esply middle class have degraded immensely due to bad influence of stuff on media projected as " practical and cool" but this is quite subjective- everything depends on parenting. its not as if these families who are migrating to west are following old family values and culture. these values are degrading globally. their kids are as valueless as they are in india.
