हाल ही में बजरंग पुनिया ने किसान कांग्रेस में कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष का जिम्मा लिया है. इस दौरान विनेश फोगट भी कार्यक्रम में शामिल थी. पर इस कर्यक्रम में बजरंग पुनिया और विनेश फोगाट की नजदीकियां कुमारी सैलजा से बढ़ती हुई नजर आयी. दोनों ही कुमारी सेलजा के साथ एक मंच पर नजर आये. जहां विनेश और बजरंग भूपेंद्र हुड्डा का हाथ थाम के कांग्रेस में आये थे वहीं उनकी नजदीकी अब कुमारी सैलजा से बढ़ती देख सियासी गलियारे में बाते बननी शुरू होगयी है.
