कनिका राणा जी दिल्ली से हैं, वो एक मिडिल क्लास फैमिली से ताल्लुक रखती हैं।
बचपन से ही उन्हें कई समस्याओं का सामना करना पड़ा क्योंकि उनके पिता की दृष्टि कमजोर थी और वह अपने परिवार की सबसे बड़ी लड़की थीं। 12वीं की पढ़ाई पूरी करने के बाद उन्होंने DU में दाखिला लिया। वह पढ़ाई में बहुत अच्छी थी।
