Dr.Pravin Gupta explained Disc with a perfect example of Tyre and Tube. He says that the outer part known as Annulus is like a tire and the inner part Nucleus is like a tube. The annulus and Nucleus provide flexibility and shock absorbent power to our back.
Slipped disc happens when the annulus is torn when we lift some heavy objects and the nerve is compressed. And when the pain of slipped disc goes in the legs it can lead to Sciatica.
