I expect a bit less hubris from Mr Peer. The Chinese have pretty advanced chip manufacturing technology, whether stolen or self developed does not matter. At the moment India is at least ten years behind china in technology. Let’s not forget that Chinese infrastructure is much better than India, which they have built using their own technology and expertise. So there are a few things we can learn from them at the moment.

I see too many pro-Taiwan stance, don’t rush. Please see what is Taiwan’s policy on Tibet, Ladakh, Arunachal Pradesh. They also claim these territories.. until this changes India should offer no support. Only in Sci-fi marvel movies an aircraft carrier has jet engines and can fly but even they cannot fly 1400km/hr, which is faster than sound. Even if you mean 'diameter', the speed would still be 700km/hr, the speed of jetliner.

If China was so bad in designing, how come they have developed and deployed spacecraft, outer space stations where Chinese astronauts travel to stay there for months? When a country is able to design spacecraft, what is JL10,17,20??? That would be child's play. As far chip making is concerned, China has designed and manufactured 5 nm chip.
