Its been 3 months i have been driving new verna, my maximum usage is in city, its the most comfortable sedan out there which is crazy fast, the interior and looks is soo futuristic and today it got 5 star 🌟 in global ncap. Really happy with my new verna ❤

Sir please test Elevate zx cvt on the same route. Especially keeping in mind Honda’s pricing, I feel a lot of nexon, xuv 300, breeza (automatic) and 4+ meter SUVs with NA automatic buyers will consider Elevate.

I have both Verna 1.5 turbo DCT and Seltos 1.5 turbo DCT in my family. The DCT Seltos feels more linear in terms of power delivery and gives slightly more fuel efficiency compared to Verna. It looks like Hyundai have used a more aggressive state of tune in Verna compared to Seltos, which feels bit less.

Great video as usual. Your return average maybe slightly higher if you had decreased the fuel amount (as almost 100-150ml spilled outside). Also, please don't fill petrol upto the brim as it needs air gap for vapour creation, which if not provided may cause both safety and performance issues.

My Slavia (1L MT) gave pretty good mileage in trip Srinagar -Gulmarg-Srinagar. While going to Gulmarg on uphill it gave avg of 10-12, while coming back it just didn't consume any petrol, used engine braking only, got avg of 28-33 in that, on a total trip got avg around 16-17/

The average for Mumbai city in heavy traffic is 11.5 approx and For Highway, its touches 18-19 if driven in ECO mode and City mode. Turbo DCT

my skoda slavia 1.5 dsg gives 12-13 on hills.. and 8-9 on extreme hills with narrow roads.. and highway i am able to get around 19 on ac and 22 without ac... mainly because of 2 cylinder mode.. many times i am aggresive in overtaking and drive car at 100+ and even upto 120..with normally speed between 85-100.. so if i drive with constant 80-90 without aggresive overtaking or driving at high speeds i feel i can get 3-4 kmpl more.. because a friend on mine has virtus gt and he got around 24 kmpl on a 560 km trip with controlled driving.. city mileage depends on city.. in noida 12-13 .. in 2 tier city like hardwar its 8-9 because of narrow roads and lots of traffic...

Wireless android auto and carplay, wireless charging ke sath nahi deti hyundai. Reason: wireless charging me phone garam hota h and wireless car play connect krne pe bhi bhot heat hota h. That can damage phone. Or cause some miss happening

As a family car comforting yourself sitting inside AC, Hearing music while cruising at 100 kmph verna is better bcoz of better AC system, more ambient light options, connected car tech, slightly better music system. What about wireless apple carplay/android auto, height adjustable seat and keyless entry for co driver, head rest for rear middle passenger. But Comeon guys, doing drag race on empty road just by increasing power and reducing weight anybody can do. That too Verna is just 0.5-0.75 secs quicker than virtus/slavia on 0-100 kmph drag race. If we take verna with virtus/slavia in f1 race track which has more curves, definetely virtus/slavia wins anyday. What really matters is how the car performs on curvy roads, high speed stability, steering weight and precision, how the car handles during sudden lane changing and braking while animals crossing the road at cruising speed of 120-130 kmph matters. I took test drive of slavia 1.5 dsg. It is cruising at 130 kmph in ACT mode with only two cylinders running. We need to understand how potent this engine is. It can easily go upto 230 kmph hands down but due to safety norms the speed limiter is set for 203 kmph. VAG cars are having electronic slip differential, multi collision braking, brake disc wiping, sturdy body shell over and above ABS, EBD, hill hold / descent assist, 6 air bags what Verna and even entry level cars have. I am against ADAS as it is only applicable for countries where traffic is more regulated but not for indian conditions.

Hello Ravi ji, I have received a blended average of 27 plus kms on a drive from Jalandhar to Shumla that total distance travelled is 256 and while i was coming downhill from shimla to jalandhar i received more than 29kmpl. Light foot, no sudden accelerations driving inbetween 1300 to 1800 rpm The car was carrying 2 adults one child 2 big suitcases, one stroller and 1 cabin luggage strolley and 3-4 bags. I drive a Slavia 1.0 TSI Manual and i can tell you that the way the car drove was something you wont expect from a sedan. I was able to turn the car on a dime that too with normal CEAT tyres, mind you it was rained almost 70% of the time during the trip. The car never felt underpowered infact the torque while going uphill was more than sufficient. The only downside was that while coming downhill the braking was not very satisfactory. I can safely say that overall Slavia is a better package when it comes to sheer driving dynamics and off course unmatched safety.

Now verna comes with global NCAP 5 star safety rating.... ab tak khud karidne na kabiliyat nahi phir bhi bol diya ..

Love this series Ravi Bhai!!! Virtus/Slavia definitely is better to drive by 10-20% , Higher Ground Clearance and Best safety. However, Verna is ahead in the rest!! And overall a better product.

It is believed that Sedans give better mileage than any other kinda Car because of their better aerodynamics. But I never saw sedans giving better mileage than hatchbacks and even SUVs. Like you can compare Nexon with Verna.

thumbs up for mentioning crash test...no other reviewer mentions crash test while comparing Hyundai/kia cars with other cars.........i rejected kia carens just because of ncap rating, 160ps turbo with dct was very tempting though.
