Wonderful presentation. I visited Monticello one more time through your lenses. Actually, this contradiction of Jefferson's character makes him the most interesting of the founding fathers. Now, if you want to look at the other side of the story, I would highly recommend Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Museum. It's located in Dorchester county in Maryland. You may have heard about Harriet Tubman and the underground railroad already. She was born in Dorchester county. There is a national wildlife refuge called Blackwater park in that area, which is a bird lover's paradise. Maryland's eastern shore has all these cute little towns - Oxford, Cambridge, St. Michael etc, worth a day trip. On your way, you may stop at Annapolis, take a tour at the Naval academy and eat some Chesapeake bay crab in a restaurant, but it will be messy!
