বৈশ্বিক প্রেক্ষাপটে সুদের হার বর্তমান স্তর থেকে খুব বাড়ার ইঙ্গিত পাওয়া যাচ্ছে না। তবে চীনে করোনার প্রকোপ আর পুতিনের পূর্বানুমান অযোগ্য পদক্ষেপ বিশ্ব অর্থনীতির অনিশ্চয়তা কমতে দিচ্ছে না। বাংলাদেশের অর্থনীতিও এর বাইরে নয়। বড় মূলধনী মুনাফার পেছনে না ছুটে, কম দামে ভালো লভ্যাংশ দেওয়া কোম্পানিগুলোর শেয়ার দীর্ঘমেয়াদে কিনে রাখাই লাভজনক হবে, বিশেষ করে যেসব কোম্পানির হাতে নগদ অর্থ অনেক। কারণ সুদের হার বৃদ্ধির কারণে এফডিআর থেকে বর্ধিত আয় তাদের ইপিএস বাড়াতে সাহায্য করবে।
