This Book Fair is India's largest and World's second largest book fair, held at the Kolkata Central Park Mela Ground. The Kolkata Book Fair is Asia's largest book fair too. This fair is generally held in January and February in every years. The fair was started on 1976 with the aim of promoting and growing reading habits among the people of West Bengal. The fair is organized by the West Bengal Publishers and Booksellers Association.
