সঞ্চালক অন্য দিকে তাকিয়ে কেন কথা বলছেন? চন্দ্রিল দা খুব ভালো বক্তা। ওনার অনেক বক্তব্য শুনেছি ইউটিউবে। খুব ভালো লাগে ওনার কথাগুলো।

Sound এ আর একটু clarity হলে ভালো হতো।

সঞ্চালক রাম গড়ুরের ছানাটিকে কোথা থেকে জোগাড় করা হয়েছিল? বিরক্তিকর।

I can not speak for Bangladeshi’s but I could not help but notice as often as not in several pan-Indian gatherings Bengalis (from this side of the border that is) are invariably prone to segregate themselves in a knot in the farthest corner of the room. We are fiercely tribal people and totally ambivalent about our lack of social skills.(Do not put it down to nationality issues, we are quite capable of doing it amongst ourselves). At times even this can be taken to some extreme level. My niece once told me a funny anecdote about her time at Chennai University where she was then doing her Ph.D. thesis. Born and raised in Lucknow Bengali was her second language,-not totally non-existent but vestigial. Because of her subject matter and probably her inability to understand the finer points of Bengali jokes (largely consisting of berating and put-downs of which Bengalees are notorious for. Instead of taking it as an act of sheer malice, which undoubtedly it is, some misguided souls even take it as a sign of superior intelligence) she invariably but not exclusively veered to the Hindii-speaking North and central Indian fellow students. Unbeknown to her she was being watched with hawk eyes. As a result in no time she was labeled as a “renegade” and altogether ostracised dismissively, bell book and candle from the Bengalee coterie hailing from where else but Kolkata.
