কারওয়ান বাজারে চাঁদাবাজির অভিযোগে ছাত্র-জনতার হাতে আটক হয়েছেন তেজগাঁও থানা শ্রমিকদলের আহ্বায়ক জালাল আহমেদ। প্রত্যক্ষদর্শীদের অভিযোগ, সোমবার রাত ১১টা নাগাদ কারওয়ান বাজারে ব্যবসায়ীদের থেকে চাঁদা তোলার জন্য জালালের নেতৃত্বে আসে শতাধিক চাঁদাবাজ।
Jalal Ahmed, convenor of Tejgaon Thana Sramik Dal, was arrested by the students on the complaint of extortion in the Kawran Bazar. According to eyewitnesses, hundreds of extortionists led by Jalal came to Kawran Bazar around 11 pm on Monday night to extort money from traders.
