" Such a wonderful insight into happiness n the evolving society in which being in a race to have the best(nothing wrong with that) has taken precedence over being happy with what gives us joy even if it is minimal. I still fondly remember the powerful performance of Anjan Dutt in 'Ranjana Ami Aar Asbo Na' apart from a slew of lovely songs he has sung. Great to listen to him after a long long time. The interviewer did a good job.

আমার একজন মনের মত গায়ক। একটু ফুরসত পেলেই তার গান শুনি বিশেষত Mr Brown, Mr Hall. আর ও কিছু গান খুব ভালো লাগে। আমি ১৯৭৫ থেকে ১৯৮৫ অবধি দার্জিলিং সেন্ট্রাল হোটেলে কাজ করেছি ম্যানেজারের পদে। ঐসময় পুরাণ দাজুর সঙ্গে পরিচয় হয় প্রায় ওনার রেস্টুরেন্টে যেতাম। ওনার ঐ পুরাণ রাজুকে নিয়ে গান লিখেছেন সেই গানটি ও আমার প্রিয়। যাইহোক ওনার মঙ্গল কামনা করি। আমার বর্তমান বয়স ৭৩ বছর। আমি ট্যালি সফটওয়্যার নিয়ে কাজ করি আর কাজের ফাঁকে ওনার গান শোনা।
