This is a recipe for a spicy, sweet, and tangy dish called Tok Jhal Mishti Patol.
* First, cut 6-7 potols (pointed gourds) into halves and lengthwise. Season them with turmeric and salt.
* Heat oil in a pan and fry the potols until golden brown.
* Take out the potols and put chopped chilies, garlic and onions in the pan. Fry them until fragrant.
* Add sliced tomatoes and cook until they become soft.
* Add spices including half a teaspoon of turmeric powder, one teaspoon of Kashmiri chili powder, and some water.
* To make the dish sweet and tangy, add some sugar, two tablespoons of chili sauce, and three tablespoons of tomato sauce.
* Add the fried potols back to the pan and simmer everything together until the flavors are incorporated.
* Garnish with chopped coriander leaves before serving.
