Ingredients:
Marinating
1. Potol(pointed gourd) : 6 to 8 nos
2. Salt : Little bit
3. Turmeric powder : Little bit
Making masala paste for gravy:
4. Cumin seed powder : 1 tsp
5. Coriander powder : 1 tsp
6. Red chilli powder : 1 tsp
7. Water : Little bit
Making gravy paste in grinder:
8. Crushed cashew nuts : 2 tbsp
9. Green chilli : 4 nos
10. Water : Little bit
11. Curd : 2 tbsp
Fry the potols for 4 to 5 minutes:
12. Mustard oil : 2 tbsp
Making the phoron/tarka:
13. Cardamom : 2 nos
14. Cinnamon : 2 pieces
15. Cloves : 2 nos
16. Add the masala paste
17. Turmeric powder : Little bit
18. Kasmiri red chilli powder : Little bit
Add the potol in phoron and stir for 2 to 3 minutes
19. Salt : According to taste
20. Water : Little bit, to boil
21. Sugar : 1 tsp
