Dear Sir/Madam, I have been alloted to my Preference no.3 college for admission. But against some colleges it is showing "Alloted in Higher Preference" and against others it is showing "Moved to Higher Preference". What is the difference between the two? And what is to be done regarding these?

Ans: All preferences below the allotted one will not be considered for next round. However you can apply afresh in the Mop up round if not taken admission in the previous phase and create new preference list. It is to be noted that allocation in mop up round will depend only on available vacancy at that time.

This is not possible technically. Even if you are shown UR in receipt, you can avail all the opportunities of SC like scholarship and other benefits.

If you want to admit the mop up round ,you don't pay any money for this but extra money you will pay or refund the extra money because every college have their own pay structure.

You have to choose upgradation in your preference list .Then you can pay the extra money for the admission but you can not choose below preference college(4th,5th etc ).If you want to take admission lower preference college you have to cancel your previous admission.

মাননীয়া দ্বিতীয় প্রেফারেন্স লিস্টে আমার জন্য সিট এলোটেড হয়েছে কিন্তু আমি তৃতীয় চতুর্থ এবং তার পরের কলেজগুলোতে পড়তে চাই তাহলে আমি যদি অটো আপগ্রেডেশন করি আমি কি ওই কলেজগুলোতে পড়ার জন্য কোন চান্স পাব?

Dear ma'am, 1. যদি কারোর 5th preference এ allot হয়, সে admission নিলো, next এ যদি তার 2nd preference এ allot হয়, তখন সে আবার admission হল, তাহলে কি আবার তাকে admission fee দিতে হবে? 2. আর 2nd preference এ allot হল, তখন admission হওয়ার সময়েও কি upgrade করার option থাকবে? Please ma'am reply

After Upgradation only extra amount is required for admission if it's less balance amount will be returned to your bank account. Yes you can again choose upgradation button

You will be allotted only one college, in which you are selected based on rankings, selection depends upon how many candidates have applied for that particular courses, marks are not necessarily required.

@@sampurnasaha9931 most likely you will be alloted only one college, which you put at higher preference. Suppose you got the 5th preference college, now either you take admission to that college and opt for upgrade . You might be eligible for higher preference college if there is seat. Now suppose you are allocated the first preference college then you have to take admission to that college only , you can’t get any other college . Neither you can upgrade or downgrade.
