Malabar Spinach and lentil curry
Hello viewers- in this video I will show you how to make pui shak or Malabar Spinach with red lentil.
Pui dal is very easy to make and it’s delicious and healthy. You can make it with any kind of lentils. I used malabar spinach and masoor ( red lentils) in this recipe. You can substitute with mung/moog/মুগ/urad/মাসকলাই dal as well. You can serve with rice, roti, tortilla etc. enjoy!
Ingredients
Malabar spinach 500 gr
Red lentil 1/2 cup
1/2 cups thinly sliced onion
2 Tbsp chopped garlic
Green chili
A little less than1/2 tsp of turmeric powder
A little less than1/2 tsp of chili powder
A little less than1/2 tsp of coriander powder
Salt as your taste
3 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 large tomato
For baghar/torka
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup sliced onion
4-5 red chili
