7 bacha fish
1/2 tsp haldi
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp onion seeds (kalonji)
1 tsp cumin powder
aloo & brinjal
to taste Salt
5/6 green chillies
1/2 tsp ginger paste
1 cup water
4 tbsp mustard oil
This is a river water fish found mostly in Bengal and Bangladesh.It is a delicate fish with very less bones and a light curry enhances the sweetness of the fish.The fish is cooked with the addition of some fried slices of brinjal & potatoes.This dish goes well with a plate of steaming hot rice.
