Ingredients of Lote Macher Jhuri Recipe :
1. Lote mach/ Loitta Mach / Bombay duck fish (500 gm).
2. Sliced potato (1 big size).
3. Chopped onion (2 big sizes).
4. Sliced tomato (1 big size).
5. Slitted green chilli (4 no).
6. Ginger paste (1 tsp).
7. Garlic paste (1 tsp).
8. Cumin powder (1 tsp).
9. Turmeric powder (1 tsp).
10. Red chilli powder (½ tsp).
11. Garam masala powder (½ tsp).
12. Salt (as per your taste).
13. Sugar (as per your taste).
14. Mustard oil (4 tbsp).
Methods of How to cook Loitta Macher Jhuri:
1. Take 500 gm Loitta Maach in a big mixing bowl.
2. Add chopped onion, sliced potatoes, sliced tomato, and green chilli.
3. Add 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp cumin powder, ½ tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp ginger paste, 1 tsp garlic paste, and ½ tsp salt. Mix all the ingredients very well.
4. Heat the pan and adds 4 tbsp mustard oil.
5. Add the mixture in it. Stir well in high flame.
6. Cover it for 10 min in medium flame.
7. After this stir it well and cover it for 5 min again in high flame.
8. Now cook in high flame for 10 min. Add ½ tsp garam masala powder and ¼ tsp of sugar (optional). Mix it well. Stir continuously.
9. Then cook for 10 min again in high flame.
10. Put off gas oven. Loitta Macher Jhurjhuri is ready.
11. Serve hot Lote macher jhuri with hot steamed rice.
