লিভার সিরোসিস নিয়ে রোগীরা বেশ দূশ্চিন্তায় পড়েন। তবে শুরুতে ধরা পড়লে এটি চিকিৎসায় ভাল হয়। রোগটির স্টেমসেল থেরাপি চিকিৎসায় বাংলাদেশ বেশ এগিয়ে। রোগী ভেদে এতে ব্যয় দেড় লাখ থেকে সাড়ে ৩ লাখ টাকা। আর বি-ভাইরাস টিকা নিয়ে লিভার সিরোসিসের আশঙ্কা ৭০% কমানো সম্ভব বলে মনে করেন, বিশেষজ্ঞ চিকিৎসকরা। অন্যদিকে, চর্বিযুক্ত খাবার কমিয়ে এবং নিয়ম করে হেঁটে ফ্যাটি লিভার থেকেও নিজেকে অনেকখানি দূরে রাখা যায়।
