Ingredients:
1. Soya nuggets : According to the quantity you want.
Boil them with high flame for 2 to 3 minutes. After removing from hot water, clean them with normal temp water and squeeze out water. Now in a frying pan add the below items:
2. Mustard oil : 3 tbsp
3. Medium sized chopped potato : 1 nos
Fry them with medium flame for three minutes and remove from frying pan. Then fry the soya beans also for 2 to 3 minutes. Now add another 3 tbsp mustard oil, warm it and add:
4. Bay leave : 1 nos
5. Cumin seed : 1/2 tsp
6. Red chilli : 2 nos
7. Cinnamon : 2 nos
8. Cardamoms : 3 nos
9. Cloves : 5 to 6 nos
10. Coriander seed : 1/2 tsp
Fry them for 1 minute, and add:
11. Ginger paste : 1 tsp
12. Heeng(asafetida) : 1/4 tsp
Stir for 1 minute and add
13. Tomato paste : 2 nos, medium size
14. Green chilli paste : 1 tsp
Add little water and add:
15. Cumin seed powder : 1 and 1/2 tsp
16. Turmeric powder : 1/2 tsp
17. kashmiri red chilli powder : 2 tsp
18. Salt : According to taste
Add the fried potato. Mix them well, and add soya nuggets, mix well. Add little warm water, little salt and sugar, cover the frying pan and let it cook for 5 minutes. Add:
19. Garam masala : 1/2 tsp
Off the gas, keep in standing time for 5 minutes, then serve.
