Electricity is not the issue the capacity is being increased as new nuclear power reactors are being installed. Also for cars people can always install solar panels to reduce dependency on the grid
All provinces including B.C., Quebec, Nova Scotia, and Ontario are proactive in expanding their respective electricity grids. Anyone who has read the expansion strategies from these provinces won't doubt their respective ability to supply the EVs. Onshore wind is the best resource of choice currently as Canada has already tapped potential in hydro. Natural gas plants will serve as backup generators called peakers.
There is a job shortage in the service sector only because about 1000 baby boomers are retiring every week in Canada. Manufacturing and Agriculture, the other two sectors are declining fast in the country because people are either not qualified or don’t want to do physical work. Unfortunately, many of the new immigrants coming to Canada maybe more educated than Canadian born people of all nationalities, but have the same mentality as them that they want easy jobs. Governments know this and instead of doing something about it, instead are watching the show. Total incompetence.
India's population is 1.4 B. There is income gap between people there : Minimum wage is Rs. 500 per day since 2015. Educated people make close to Rs 7 million per year now. Minimum wage makers can not afford good education or good medical care. Would you want Canada to become like that ?

Skilled workers are sitting hime for Last many Years. Now they are calling garbage from outside. Productivity of new foreign worker is very low 4 guys doing 2 guys job .solution is piece work industry instead of hourly like previous conservative government That time construction was very busy coz of residential homes. 1 house give employment of 3 stories of hi rise so 1 hiring tower building gives employment = 15 house but now they are counting 1 building to 150 homes. Real construction workers left industry because of low prices and driving trucks. Now all garbage working in construction needs help to lift 15kg weight I don't know who says to we need more skilled workers. 10 years ago every 3rd house was skilled productive workers. Look at food industry aswell super slow guys working 6-8 workers at tim hortons before not more than because they were productive .pay 1 productive worker $25 instead of 18×2=$36 slow workers this is problem old workers should teach them how to work professionally but this government made all of them homeless.RIP canada
