Totally beholden by this lecture, Prof. Sharifaben. Today only I saw Anubhav Sinha's film "Mulk". A (deliberately chosen 'facelessness' as a personal value) family elder's life & work motto was: "Above All Nations Humanity"!! (In Mumbai, he was a neighbour of Dhiruben Patel). Those who had a window in to Muslim life world will never get polarized. But those who're misled, distant watchers will fall prey to plots of all kinds. Thank you for your lecture. I liked it and recommend its wide dissemination.
You are so right. Religion is not the basis of nationhood, unity. Had it been so, we would not have had so many countries in the world following 5-6 major religions. Even if it becomes the basis, it does more harm than help. We've so many evidences of this in the world today.
