add oil
ghee 1 tbsp
onion 1 chopped
frozen or fresh peas 1/2 cup
fry well
in a blender jar, add few coriander and mint leaves
coriander seeds 1 tsp
fennel seeds 1 tsp
ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
cardamom 2
clove 2
add little water and grind into paste and add this to the cooker along with half cup water, green Chilli 2,
salt and garam Masala powder 1 tsp and boil this for 2 minutes.
now add 1.5 cups basmati rice soaked for 30 minutes.
total water ratio should be 1:1.5
give a good mix and close the cooker and cancel the saute mode and press rice mode.
yummy picnic pulao is ready in few minutes. you can pack this pulao in a hot casserole or just carry this along with your instant pot when you go on a one day trip and enjoy this yummy home made food along with some potato chips.
