கே.வி. K.V.Mahadevan is the greatest music director in the world forever &ever, nobody can compose music like him, MSV the legendary music director😍😍💖❤
Good effort by Chitra Lakshmanan. His well edited details of various actors and movies, directors and producers, musicians and poets are absorbing. How Lakshmanan speaks with great flow? Any help from prompting monitors? Unlikely. That's why he deserves our applause.
One Sankarabaranam is enough to prove KVM's greatness, he also blessed Kunnakudi to direct music for Kanthan Karunai....those were the days of noble hearts and true gentlemen......Entharow Maganubavalu!
K.V.Mahadevan and " Iratayargal" Viswanathan & Ramamoorthy are great musical legends in South Indian Cinema. Although both of them had different style of music direction, their music is everlasting till to date. Their era was the golden period of Tamil cinema. They are incomparable .
@@mahendranrajah7481. It is not a matter of who wiped out whom. Ilaya Raja is a great music director too. To me the golden era of Tamil cinema was the period of Sivaji, MGR, Kannadasan, TMS, Sreenivas, Suseela, MSV, KVM etc.
Before Genova, MSV was working as Harmonist with the legend C.R. Subbaraman. CSR’s untimely death brought some chances to MSV to complete the movies he was working as MD such as Devadas, Marumagal, Chandi Rani etc. By the way Genova had three Music Directors. What are the songs composed by MSV? There is a talk that A.M. Rajah got the chance to compose for the movie Genova originally and he gave up the chance in favour of MSV. Is it true?

There is some false information here. The music composers for the film "Genova" were T.A.Kalyanam and M.S.Gnanamani and at the latter stage of the production only M.S.Viswanathan jpined as the third composer. In fact, it wa A.M.Rajah who was booked as the third composer, but later M.S,Viswanathan took his place. It was A.M.Rajah, however, sang all the songs for M.G.Ramachandran.At this point of time, M.S.Viswanathan was still working in the C.R.Subburaman musical troupe as a harmonium player and around this time only C.R.Subburaman fell seriously ill., hence Viswanathan tried for this opportunity and was successful. Both T.K.Kalyanam and M.S.Gnanamani had aleady been famous.T.K.Kalyanam despite his talent , was not very disciplined.M.S.Gnanamani also had some problems at that stage which necessitated a third composer mainly for background music. Most of the songs in this film were by T.K.Kalyanam and M.S.Gnanamani.M.S.Viswanathan was totally unknown then. Only A.M.Rajah and M.S.Viswanathan fell out with each other during the production of this film and never worked with each other since. The four songs A.M.Rajah sang for Viswanathan - Ramamoorthy duo were composed by T.K.Ramamoorthy only.
