I don’t understand one thing, how will these guys make money if they’re singing one song here and there. Chithra Laxman knows how much these folks get for a song, maximum 15k, or let’s take 25k, I doubt . How many songs did Ananthu sing so far. After Vettaikkaran, did anyone call him. How many years did it pass by to get another song. SPB, KJ Yesudas make decent money and those days are gone. All other singers,Vijay TV super singers don’t make money at all. In fact, producers introduce all these new singers to cut down their costs by not paying manytimes. How will they make constant money to take this a career if they one song for 6 months or 1 year. These folks are being triggered by the interviewers like Chithra L saying you sang this song great, what a opportunity and have you met Rajni and what was your experience etc. Is this useful for a singer to pursue this as career in the movie industry. Not at all. They don’t talk the real issue that the singers or other musicians face. This’s the reason many in the movie industry struggles as they hide many things and struggle in their life. What will that give to the singers by asking questions about ‘did you talk to Rajni’ , ‘what was your experience with Rajni’ etc. will this help the singers. Also my wife and Ananthu sang few songs on the stage in MounaRagam band. I know how the singers struggle in the movie industry. They get peanuts since 90’s. ARR introduced many, where are they? If they get an opportunity to work in a good company or going abroad for work, then a smart person will not pick singing in a movie industry. It’s worthless and just worth for giving interviews talking big hype. Ananthu, please have some other job in parallel that should help in a long run. These guys will bring super singers from Vijay tv every year so that they don’t have to pay. So, Beware…
