Jawaharlal Nehru led India forward economically through Five year plans. Building dams, Core Industries, Prestigious Public sector industries, BHEL, BEL, HAL, ECIL, ICF, etc., etc., ( now, the present government sells the shares to make money for their day to day expenditures) Indira Gandhi was elected as Congress President twice. But Nehru did not share power to her. He never indicated her as his successor. Actually he denied her a chance. After Jawaharlal Nehru's demise , Gujarat industrialists wanted to make their man, Morarji Desai as Prime Minister, but, such bid was successfully thwarted by our great Black Gandhi Mr. Kamaraj. He made Lal Bahadur Sastry the Prime Minister. After the sad demise of Sastry, Kamaraj made Indira the Prime Minister, till then she was Minister for Information and Broadcasting. She was asked to lead the nation because of her charisma and her power to unify the regional interests.. She defeated Pakistan, in the 1970 war, established Bangladesh, which was hetherto East Pakistan, despite the American inervention with their warships paraded against India. She nationalised Banks, Her 20 point programme is the mother of all welfare schemes thereafter, only the names have been changed. Rajiv Gandhi was totally reluctant to enter politics. and he worked as a pilot for his family. Sonia was also against his political career. Indira was brutally killed by terrorism. Rajiv Gandhi was Congress General Secretary then. . Rahul was a teen age boy when he lost his beloved grand mother. Rajiv gandhi had to take over. Sooner he led Congress to great historic victory in 1984 election, much to the disappointment of adversaries, thereby proving democratically that he had great mass support. . Rajiv Gandhi was brutally killed. The family lost second precious life in seven years. Sonia could have easily become Prime Minister then. All Indians naturally sympathised her and family for the loss of Rajiv Gandhi and the election mandate was only for Rajiv Gandhi. But, grieved Sonia wanted to stay away from politics. Congress made Narasimha Rao as Prime Minister. Congress had no good effective charismatic popular leadership. Despite good governance and performance, party grew weak. (For the good work done by Dr. Manmohan Singh during this term, uplifting the country economically, he was rewarded in 2004- 2014 as Prime Minister. Look, the Congress always rewards and honors worthy people.) BJP used this NarasimhaRao period as an opportunity to grow, obviously with RSS support. NarasimhaRao took wrong political decision, for example, aligned with Corrupt Jayalalitha's ADMK in 1996.. Congress lost 1996 election. and also 1998 election Sonia Gandhi was compelled to lead the Party. Sonia Gandhi lead the party, rejuvenated the party structure and led to power in 2004. Sonia Gandhi proved her leadership and steered the party from scratches to power. Sonia Gandhi did not take the power for herself though it was earned by her . Dr. Manmohan Singh was made the Prime MInister. The UPA Government led by Dr. Manmohan Singh will be remembered for its unparelleled GDP growth, welfare schemes, MGNREGA, 108 health care , economic development etc., etc., Despite this Congress was routed because of lies, and Jumlas of Modi, CAG driven imaginary 2 G scam etc., . Even mighty Modi could not prove any such scam in his five years. He failed miserably, Rahul Gandhi entered politics, when the Congress was weak. Rahul Gandhi is Next soldier to rejuvenate Congress. Initially, when Congress was in Power Rahul Gandhi was reluctant and had his own consultancy firm in Mumbai. Destiny drove Rahul Gandhi to politics. Rahul Gandhi was ridiculed by 56 inch Prime Minister as Pappu. Naamdhar etc. etc., , Within one year of Rahul Gandhi 's tenure as Congress president he has build his own predominantly youth team with some worthy elderly guards also. Rahul Gandhi has led the party to victory in three strategic states. Rahul Gandhi wants to take other secular parties also along with him and include them also in his team to defeat the religious fanatic, fascist , crony capitalist forces. . In Chattisgarh, Madhyapradesh and Chattisgarh, the friendly secular position parties wanted to extract more than what they deserve. and sabotaged the unity of secular parties.. They formed their own third front. But, Rahul Gandhi went alone and won the battles there. The war is not over till the Fascist / crony capitalist BJP is thrown out of power. Still Rahul Gandhi wants to align with other parties. But, BSP and SP failed to learn the important lesson. They decided to keep Congress away in Uttar Pradesh. Despite Rahul's desire to share the victory and power with other friendly secular parties, they showed narrow and short vision. Had congress aligned with them, it is obvious that Congress can not have nominations in as many as 55-65 constituencies. Rahul was prepared for this also to ensure inclusiveness and togetherness . His generosity has been mistaken as weakness. As early as in 2009 Rahul led UP campaign and won 24MP seats. In 2014 he, as Vice President, had to campaign all over India. The innocent people believed Modi, and succumbed to the lies and jumlas of Modi. Then Rahul could not include his youth force . Rahul had to leave the party to the old guards. Sonia was not healthy. The evil forces had their field day. Three and half years later Sonia relinquished, Rahul Gandhi was elected as President of Congress. BJP took things granted for all these three years. Rahul Gandhi proved Modi is very much defeatable. Their argument to call Rahul Gandhi a Pappu or failed cannot hold any longer. . . Rahul Gandhi needs charismatic and capable dedicated leaders to shoulder the responsibility of UP campaign. He has fielded strategically and tactically two of his stalwarts, Jyotiraditya Scindia and Priyanka Gandhi. BJP is in jitters. This move by Rahul Gandhi will pave way for Congress to recon itself as a formidable force to defeat the Fascist / crony capitalist BJP and to field, contest and win more number of MP seats with thumbing majority and also return Congress Government in UP in next assembly elections. .
