This is a very controversial topic. Education is only important or not for a successful life. We can conclude anything if 100% outcome from that. If 100% people are only succeeding with the Education, we can conclude Education is only important for a successful life. But in reality 70% only successful with Education 30% not with Education. To be honest Education is important for some people's life, That's not much important for some people's life. I would say knowledge is important. It can come from basic school education is enough for some people's survival /successful life. Even a famous scientist Thomas Edision never followed a degree. So knowledge can be learnt even from life experience. There are plenty of people who never succeeded in life using education, but with other life skills. Acting, Sports, Gymnastic, Games, Craftsman, Musician ... Many many. I feel Gobinath is wrong even you can count 10 Lakhs people on the earth whoever succeeded in life without education. The people who don't have options to go and succeed in other field, they choose Education field, because they don't need to overcome severe hurdles like uneducated person faces in life. Usual routine they can do. Can succeed easily, they think. But that doesn't mean the person who go with uneducated route won't succeed. Nowadays so much of topics involved in school education system, so call syllabus, even we too studied them But even several centuries ago ordinary people have found many inventions in the world without having degrees. From there we can understand what matters is knowledge, It can come from regular typical education system or practical life experience. Usually average middle class family people go for education route because they don't want to risk with their life, But the people who risk their life and go for uneducated route also still successful because of their dedication and effort.
