NEET has become a prestige issue for DMK. The only way is to compromise their hard core ideology by aligning with BJP to support their legislation to advance their agenda.

The 4 MLAs of BJP owe their seats to ADMK, which is another Dravidian party. Kanyakumari also sent Congress MP consecutively. Again, a confirmed defeat for BJP. At this juncture, the only decent action the BJP can take is that NEET can be made optional to the States. This could be the face-saver for both the sides. On the other hand, if 303 MPs try to crush 39 MPs and 230 MLAs, it's be face-shaver for both. Such a situation had happened globally in the past. Now, tell me whether BJP will be democracy-promoting party or a fascist-oriented party. Hope good sense would prevail.

AIADMK too has a substantial seats in the Assembly. Can we say that whatever DMK does is by crushing the AIADMK. What kind of logic is this. Hard core politics is different. BJP, like all other parties, would think what benefit will it get by scrapping NEET. Please realise NEET is an SC related issue. Moreover other States are not against NEET. Stalin should first gather support from other States.
