This is the best Tamil film that I have seen in my life. All the films we make in Tamil are all fake stuff with no exploration or even an attempt to explore the truth. This film is the equivalent of watching Au Baltazar by Bresson or The Mirror by Tarkovsky. This director needs to be celebrated.
ரியாலிட்டி film , மக்களுக்கு கற்பனை கதை தான் பிடிக்குது பறந்து அடிக்கிறது, டுயட் பாடுறது இதெல்லாந்தான் சினிமா ன்னு நினைக்கிறாங்க, அருமையான படம், வேடிக்கை பார்த்துக்கிட்டே நடக்கிற மாதிரி இருந்தது pictures ,sound effect super. வித்தியாசமான டைரக்டர் hats off .
மற்றவர்களின் கண்கள் வழியாக (ரிவிவ்யூ) சினிமாவை அலசுபவர்கள் மத்தியில் , இப்படிப்பட்ட நல்ல தரமான திரைப்படங்கள் காணாமல் போகின்றன. வெளிநாட்டில் கொண்டாட பட்ட திரைப்படத்தை , சில அர்த்தமற்ற காரணங்களுக்காக நாம் நிராகரிப்பதுதான் உச்சகட்ட கொடுமை.
அண்ணனே வணக்கம்..! நானும் அதே மதுரைகாரன் தான் படம் நேத்து பாத்தேன் அந்த படத்தில் வரும் சமூகத்தை சேர்த்தவன்தான்..! படம் இசை இல்லாமல் கவிதையாக மாறியதற்கு காரணம் அந்த மக்களின் வாழ்வியலும் வட்டார மொழியும் தான்..! சேவல் தொடங்கி "தாய்மாமன் சீருகொண்டு வாரண்டி" என்று என் ஊரை என்னக்கே அறிமுகம் செய்ததுபோல் நிகழ்வு...! கடைசியாக நிகழும் சாமியாரின் நிகழ்வு யாரும் ஏற்க முடியாத நிகழ்வு..! இன்னார் சமூகத்தை கொச்சை படுத்த எடுத்தார் என்றால் அந்த படத்தை நாங்களே தடை செய்வோம்..! ஆனால் நிகழ்வு என்னவோ உண்மைதான்.. சூரிக்கு வந்த கோவம் இந்த மக்களின் பிரதிபலிப்பே..! இதில் ஆணவமோ.. வெறியோ.. இல்லை... நம் வீட்டில் வளர்க்கும் சேவலை பக்கத்து வீட்டுக்காரன் விருந்து வச்சு சாப்பிட்டா வரும் கோவம் எல்லோருக்குமானதே..! இது எதார்த்தமே..! மிக முக்கியமா "மானம் உள்ள அனைவருக்கும்" வரணும்..!
உண்மை.....அத்தனை காலம் உயிருக்கு உயிராக வளர்த்த ஒரு இரத்த பந்தம் திடீரென யாரோட பேச்சையோ நம்பி நம்மை விட்டு நிரந்தரமாக பிரிந்து போக துணிகிறது..... பேசியவன் எல்லா காலத்திலும் இந்த சமூகத்தை பகையாக வோ வன்மத்தோடோ பார்க்கும் சமூகமாக இருக்கும்பட்சத்தில் பெண்னை கொண்டு போய் சீரழித்து விடுவார்களோ, கொன்று விடுவார்களோ, எவனாவது கஞ்சா குடிக்கியிடம் சிக்கி வாழ்க்கை நாசமாகி விடுமோ என்கிற அடிப்படை அச்ச உணர்வே அந்த மக்களின் மூட நடவடிக்கைகளுக்கு காரணம்.

Ivlo pesura neenga.. decoding video podunga papom.. most of them who went to the movie,know very well it's an art film.. everyone in the theatre got frustrated after the film ended without any climax at 1hr 40 min. Everyone got frustrated when portraying Tamil/ Indian culture in such a shameful manner . already we Indians were looked upon by western people as pre- historic human beings,now u r showcasing these things even after we have developed a lot..there are 1000 of gud things in Indian and Tamil culture,u could have showcased those things in the form of film in berlin film festivals.one more thing..don't underestimate common ordinance.. everyone common ordinance has the knowledge abt world cinema and they are much more knowledgeable than RU-vid reviewers and film critics and directors
You said the right thing. People are frustrated with the movie because it tells the reality in mind-numbingly detailed way.if you think this is damaging the image of India and our state, we should probably work on such things to stop happening in the first place. Just getting furious over a movie depicting reality is not a solution😂

Hi brother. Kaalai Vanakkam. I am Indian citizen but living & working outside India since 2019. Lived in UK and living now in Singapore. Have many other ethnicity friends. We do meet and discuss things generally happening around the world. One of neighbors Asian but from different ethnicity. Yesterday we were discussing and they asked me despite having all ancient cultural heritage and spirituality etc, why in India still men treating woman as low and why all these rape incidents go without hard punishment. My wife replied them It's a mindset from birth in India that men are made to believe they r superior. change should start from every home. Men should be taught doing house hold work. This is partly responsible by woman as they pamper their male kids and husbands from doing any works and make them comfortable and believe kitchen works are meant only for woman. Rest of t world is not like this. I hope the upcoming generation learns and adapts about gender equality soon from the world.
