Idiyappam, also known as indiappa, noolputtu, noolappam, santhagai, or ottu shavige, is a string hopper dish originating from southern India. It consists of rice flour pressed into noodles, laid into a flat disc-like shape and steamed. In this video I have made tomato idiyappam variety that is loved by everyone and it's really very easy to make.
Ingredients:
1. Rice flour (kolukattai flour) - 2 cup
2. Salt - ½ tsp
3. Tomato - 2
4. Onion - 1
5. Mustard -1 tsp
6. Urad dal - 1 tsp
7. Curry leaves - few
8. Ginger garlic paste -½ tsp
9. Salt - ½ tsp
10. Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
11. Chilli powder - ½ tsp
12. Oil - 1 tbsp
