Shri Koodal Azhagar Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to the god Vishnu, in Thirukkoodal, Madurai. This temple is 101'st Divya desam of the 108 Divya desams sequence.
This temple attracts devotees with its impressive architecture as well. The five-tiered rajagopuram which is the gateway is one of the most attractive features of this temple. This temple has ground, first and second floors like as Thirukoshtiyur sivagangai district. In 108 Divya Desam only these 2 temples have 3 floors temple structure. There are three altars in the temple and in all the altars Lord Vishnu resides in three different postures (standing, sitting and reclining).
