There is the great maestros of maeatro MSV too (all are his tunes in that film ) ... For sweet lilting tunes MSV is the undisputed emperor forever. ( He was the instrumental for making Two great male superstars 1. MGR who became CM 2. Shivaji Ganesan best ever actor india has produced so far, then lady superstar Jaya who became CM too.. )

As decades pass on people gets replaced with different knowledge evolution technology advancements mindsets, attitude and approach.. 1950s it was G.Ramanathan, 1960s definitely MSV and into late 1970s ilaiyaraja all the way through 1980s upto 1991.. 1992 till 2000 it was ARR who redefined the music with his skillful contemporary technology knowledge then followed by Haris jeyaraj, and dozens and dozens of music directors followed and too many singers for today's 13 year teenage boys to 27 year youth - their playlists stands testimonials. Nowadays Entertainment is not only confined to cinema it has broadened in manyfolds.. video game zones, 24 hours TV channels, RU-vid channels, Sports channels, News channels, Serials , Reality shows and so on.. As you explore and immense into world music more we can easily go to the roots of our cinema composers source.. after all cinema music is just a commercial entertainment stuff which has no written grammar or constraints... if people accept some songs by someone it gain else fails.
