Idiyappam, also known as indiappa, noolputtu, noolappam, santhagai, or ottu shavige, is a string hopper dish originating from southern India. It consists of rice flour pressed into noodles, laid into a flat disc-like shape and steamed. In this video I have made sweet idiyappam variety that is loved by everyone and it's really very easy to make. We can use brown sugar or jaggery instead of normal sugar.
Ingredients:
1. Rice flour (kolukattai flour) - 2 cup
2. Salt - ½ tsp
3. Sugar - 2 to 3 tbsp
4. Coconut - 2 to 3 tbsp
