Market price(whether its stock or real estate or gold) reflects all the known information past, present and future. A peak stock market in depressing times indicates that the investors expects economy to recover in the near term. When the recovery actually happens, stocks may not perform as it has already priced in the recovery.

என்ன ரிஸ்க்? பங்கு சந்தை பற்றி எதுவுமே தெரியாமல் 4 மாசத்துக்கு முன்னாடி வந்து இப்ப 59% இலாபத்தில் இருக்கிறேன்.போன வாரம் எல்லாத்தையும் வித்துட்டு அடுத்த ரவுண்டுக்கு ரெடியா இருக்கிறேன்.இதுல ஒரு ரிஸ்கும் இல்ல..வெவெரம் தெரியாதவனுக்கு எல்லாமே ரிஸ்குதான். மிஞ்சி பொனா இந்த பங்குச்சந்தையால எங்கிட்ட இருந்து 1.5% தான் எடுக்க முடியும்.( அப்டிப்பட்ட ஸ்டாப் லாஸ் நம்மளது)

I was reading Lear to Earn book so thought of sharing this... During 1929 great depression many people lost almost half of their value in just 5 days....and ticker tape was not able to keep-up with coping up with massive scale of price drop and volume of stock been sold... Winston Churchil was staying the hotel room in the wall street and may investors committed suicide from jumping of the hotel room... he was able to see that because a investor above his room jumped breaking the window glass... and after few days the hotel receptionist started to ask new customer "whether they need room to sleep or room to jump".. I think this is gonna happen in coming years... Dont get caught in the optimistic cycle...

@@subaganesh232 i think ddt is on investor income, itax is on company income. If u add like this u can add gst also. Now 70+18=88/- contbn by company to govt. Govt can implement another tax waiver scheme for company & penalise small home buyer. First govt should not abolish wealth tax should increase tax on wealth. Second govt should not reduce tax rate other than msme sector including firm. Third reduce tax rate on petroleum pdt. Another thing is gdp or economy s not just a listed company.

It depends. See in a country like USA where more than 50 percentage of the population is invested in the stock market;stock market is a good indicator. But in our country, hardly 4% invest and that too most people invest through the mutual funds route. So it is not a good indicator in our country's economy.

Stock market in USA is a good indicator of its economy where 50% of population invest in stock market. But in India its only 2-4% invest in stock market. So its not a good indicator of indian economy. Calling yourself as an economist I'm surprised that you don't know even this fact. FIIs pump in money is a fact which occupies major portion in market. Indian economy is something based on entire 130+ crore people's state and how do you match that with Stock market which only comprise close to 4 crore people's state in India. I really hope you are one among the crowd in Anti Modi group who just want to criticise govt for every happenings in the nation.

As per your opinion stock market crash in India will not affect Indian economy? Isn't it ? It is accepted norm, stock market is a indicator of country's economy , Jeyaranjan says the same. Reserve Bank also convey the same, Stock market going in opposite direction of real economy. You thought , you are above the reserve Bank in knowing about Indian economy. This situation is unique , unprecedented, nobody can't guess what is going to happen ?
