100% true. I gained almost 20 lbs few years ago and tried HIIT, running, strength training a bit for more than a year and NOTHING HAPPENED. Finally found what works for me- walking in treadmills for 40 minutes everyday. After about 4 months weight started slowly coming off. Don’t starve instead eat good food and find out what works for you

Thanks! Quite informative. I could infer this summary: Be in breakfast, lunch or dinner, start with protein/fat: Breakfast - cup of nuts and then idly/dosa Lunch - Some protein like omlette/veggies followed by (less) rice & Sambar. Dinner - Protein like omlette/panner followed by dosa. If possible avoid all wheat items. This is not compulsory one. Move well. Try targeting 10k steps everyday. 5k steps by 12 PM is good target. Must do - 3 days strength training. Gradually increase and enjoy the process. Sleep well. 10 PM to 2 PM : for physical body. 2 PM to 6 AM : for mental health. Try hitting gym and follow good trainer. More the age must do. Hitting gym for young girls cause absolutely no harm. dexa scan is more important than BMI. helps to see muscle/fat percentage. Over a period of time we can understand what we gain and loose (fat/muscle). Muscle is your important property - preseve it. Think of it like diamond necklace soththu 😜
