Yes! We should be very careful in any rescue missions. I really hope and Pray that the authorities concerned would take the necessary steps IMMEDIATELY to prevent any such mishaps in the future. I find it hard to believe that the concrete floor is too soft to allow the poor victim to collapse under the weight of the flooring. I am sure that millions would have used the walkway to do shopping and it could be anyone in her shoes. Out of concern for the pedestrians and shoppers safety, immediate steps should be taken to ensure the safety using the walkway near Masjid India. It is not an isolated area but a popular area and the incident occurred in the morning of Friday, another busy day. May Allaah protect us all.
