However, considering the fans, producers, and distributors urged for the release, he agreed to show his regret. He clearly says, "I request the concerned people to cooperate for the release of the film, yeah some mistakes happened, and mistakes should not be repeated. I ask them to cooperate, that's all." Even upon viewing the video, it's evident he didn't apologize, unlike Sathyaraj who had criticized the Superstar severely but later when he faced troubles during bahubali release, he himself issued an apology and he was trolled. Thoothukudi/Sterlite Issue: I was also initially upset with that statement, but upon reflection and deep analyses, I realized he wasn't referring to the protesters. He explicitly mentioned the goons/mob who intentionally aimed to disrupt the peaceful protest. However, the media twisted Thalaivar's words, leading to debates suggesting that he had spoken ill of the protestors. This misunderstanding has affected many, including you and me who conceived them in a wrong way. In any peaceful protest, the issue lies not with the protesters, but just 10 or 100 goons/mob sent by the corporate companies or the government against whom one is fighting. This is enough to disrupt the protest. Obviously, when everything is going smoothly for 10 days and an incident occurs on the last day in a large crowd, it's common sense that something has been planted, and the poor people end up suffering.
