Dear Siva Raman I tried the train chutney today with the following modification : I added 1/2inch chopped ginger along with the chopped onion and added 2 coconut pieces of 2inches while frying. As per your instructions I added 4 tablespoon full of roasted bengal gram at the time of grinding. Finally I added a"thaalippu "with pinch of asafoetida and curry leaves with other ingredients you have used in this. Fantastic chutney and only thing missing is that the train running sound at the time of eating it with iddlys. Kudos.
