A refreshing interview 🙏 Very important discussion for people who are stuck at the crossroads.....after listening to all of them and becoming discombobulated which path to take....We need to use the optimal solution ....for each problem...without being blindsided by only one path blindly without rational thinking. Even the person giving spiritual advice has to go to the doctor to get his health checked. Faith in GOD will help us maneuver the everyday problems in life , like shock absorbers on the speed breakers. Both science and spirituality should go hand in hand . There are indivisible. One cannot exist without the other . A Symbiotic relationship to be precise is a prerequisite as both are equally important . Synergy happens when science and spirituality come together in unison. Moral decisions can't be made by science, where spirituality lends a helping hand.

Simple point to what u wrote. U said rational thinking Sadhguru said and I quote here : "It is impossible to think about anything about which data doesn't exist in memory" For example, u can not think about heart surgery if u don't know anything about that aspect. The mind and it's thoughts are limited by the data in memory. Hence rational thinking is limited by memory. Spiritual content says (espeically advaita vedanta) that mind is able to experience objects of the universe only because it is illumined by brahman or pure consciousness and hence became capable to experience. So mind is the object and brahman/consciousness is the subject It is impossible for the mind to think or experience something due to which mind is able to think or experience in the first place AV and also sankhya philosophy says the only way for mind to experience the "beyond" is only when mind becomes silent. "Whatever" happens when mind becomes capable of being silence for some amount of time, later when mind returns (from the silent state), mind experiences that "whatever", and only then would the mind know about the presence or absence of the spiritual aspects (like consciousness, god, brahman, etc) This is the quality or kind of transcendental experiences enlightened people are capable of. I agree all this is theory and are impossible to verify using any scientific tool or technique, including thought, because all these are objects to the subject called god/brahman/consciousness But my point is -- how nice it is if spirituality is real, as it provides more doors for us to experience stuff which the universe and 5 senses and thought can not provide
