The south indian dynasties such as chalukya, Eastern chalukya, Western chalukya Gajapathis of orissa, Vishnukundina, Pareechedi, Pusapati, Andra ikshvaku, Renati choda, Potapi chola (telugu chola), Vakataka Pallava Vasista Kotavamsa Brihalayana Salankanayana Chalukya chola (from kulotgunga chola 1 to rajadhi raja 3) Are already confirmed by govt of Andra pradesh and karnataka government that belong to telugu and kannada Kshatriya raja (south indian rajput) . 1) the first king of medieval cholas is vijayala chola hailed that he belong to telugu chola and his father name is sri kantha chola from telugu chola dynasty. This solid evidence available in archeology survey of india. Telugu chola dynasty was established in current kadappa region. 2) there is no inscription that medieval cholas belong to tamil clan or tamil origin. These people still living in and around tanjore and also in deep south tamil nadu town "raja palayam" 4) medieval cholas had lot of marriage relationship with eastern chalukya, but there is NO single marriage relationship with pandiya or chera. 5) arinjaya chola first wife is veeman kunthavai, she is princess of eastern chalukya, daughter of veeman 2. Raja Raja chola's daughter kunthavai Natchiyar, married with eastern chalukya prince vimaladhita Varma Rajendra chola daughter ammangai devi married to eastern chalukya prince raja Raja Narendra chalukya. 6) after the death of Athi rajendra chola (3rd son rajendra chola), there is no male heir , cholas called eastern chalukya prince rajendra chalukya (son of Raja Raja Narendra chalukya) to come and rule chola dynasty and titled as kulam uttunga chola ( kulotgunga chola), meaning of kulam uttunga chola is continuer of kulam or community. Since cholas and chalukya are same kulam, they have titled as that. Then kulam uttunga chola merged chola and chalukya dynasty and formed chalukya chola dynasty. Kulam uttunga chola born in gangai konda chola puram, he took part in indonesia raid by rajendra chola, kulam uttunga chola was commander in chief for navy. 7) all the birth name of chola king contains Varma which is the caste name only for Kshatriya varna. Birth name of raja Raja chola is Arul mozhi Varma, Birth name rajendra chola is mathuranka Varma Birth name of paranthaka chola is Veera narayana Varma Birth name of karikala is aditya Varma. Still only Kshatriya varna using this from rajasthan, hariyana to andra , karnataka, kerala. 8) pandiya who were neighbor to chola conducted 3 sangam to polish and encourage tamil language but cholas never conducted sangam for tamil language. All the name of cholas such as raja Raja, rajendra, paranthaka, karikala are sanskrit and all titles are also in sanskrit such as Veera kesari , para kesari, kopara kesari and tamil title also. Since cholas can't write their name in Tamil, they introduced letters such as ja, ji, ju, je, ha, sha, sa, sri , shi. Even now tamil language doesn't have these letters, 9) medieval cholas and chalukya chola never had friendly relationship with pandiya and chera, for 400 years there were had continuous war. Raja Raja is the title awarded to Arul mozhi varma after the victory of pandiya and chera. He also awarded as pandiya nataka, kerala nataka, sinhala nataka. He also awarded as telugu kula kaala and Kshatriya sihamani. This is solid evidence he belong to telugu Kshatriya. Elder brother of raja Raja is aditya karikala , he awarded title as "veera pandiya thalai konda kopara kesari" that means "big lion who cut pandiya head". All cholas had continuous fight with pandiya and chera. 10) since chola temple inscription are in Tamil, cannot be considered as proof.. Because temple inscription always in local language to be understandable by local people while walking around temple. Kulotgunga chola and his successors who came from vijayawada kept temple inscription in Tamil , inside current tamil nadu region. And vijayanagar king who came from hampi kept inscription in Tamil, in current tamil nadu region..
