I remembering my NCC days in 2001-2002 when we were camped near Venkannabhavi,Kurnool. As camp food was not good we used to go out for breakfast near our camp. It was first time I had this spicy breakfast. I was unable to complete it as it was too hot and spicy. Nice experience.. Still remember my college days. It will never come back..!!
Guys In India other states of people don't know this food UGGANI except ANDHRA - RAYALASEEMA & KARNATAKA , And it's called like biryani , but its very yummy yummy & tasty . Because even I don't know this uggani , when I was studying in kurnool medical college (rayalaseema) , that time mostly Telugu & kannada my friends eating in canteen . And by the way in rayalaseema kannada people also is there because of its border , they have relationship also married each other like Bellary , Bidet , Raichur , Sindhanoor , sirugumpaa , hospet , gulbarha , gagavathi , etc these people having good bond with rayalaseema people , and food also almost same taste . And kurnool General hospital also mostly this Karnataka people coming for treatment . And Very interesting point is ADONI (kurnool dist) I saw kannada medium school , Marathi medium school , Gujarathi medium school , And since once upon a time to. they're all closed with rayalaseema people . Overall I Love UGGANI - BAJJI & I really miss this yummy yummy dish .... !!! From Hyderabad , Telangana (INDIA)
That chilli is not bajji chilly, and once the puffed rice is added in to the mixture u should not cook it further it just make puffed rice hard and rubbery. Lemon is must ingredient in uggani unless u don’t like lemon. I think the simple dish is made complicated I felt. We prepare very frequently at home and it’s very simple dish. Try the same with unsalted puffed rice It tastes best with it. Anyway good try

I was wondering how to make it delicious being in USA and you had shown me in detail with amazing voice that clearly reflects your love and enthusiasm while preparing it. You must prepare more Rayalaseema dishes for me as I am the worst cook.
