@@1JointKannada On the Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays there are some auspicious Pujas to be done to Hindu deities like : Tuesday - Lord Ganesha & Lord Hanuman Thursday - For the Guru of their choice. Friday - Goddess Lakshmi Saturday - Lord Vishnu and Shani Dev So during these days, it has been mentioned in the Hindu Calendar (We call it as Panchanga in Karnataka) and if any person cuts the nails or the hairs, then it is said to bring a Negative energy which can Lessen the Lifespan of an individual. Similarly on the Full Moon Days (Poornima) and No Moon Days (Amavasya) and also on the dates in Hindu Calendar (Thithis) when the Elders in the Family have departed, there should be No Hair cutting and Nails cutting as it is not advisable to do so. It will result in sin. The Elder and Younger brother of the same family and also the Father and Son should not simultaneously have a Shave or Haircut done on the same day, as it will reduce their lifespans as well as it will also affect their Family members and in turn lessen their lifespans too. The Haircut or Shave must be performed only from Morning 6:00 A.M to 11:30 A.M. maximum. During the Afternoons, Evenings and Nights there should not be any kind of Hair removal or Nails cutting. On the other days like Sunday, Monday and Wednesday where the corresponding “Thithis” or dates in the Hindu calendar like “Dhwitheeya, Thrutheeya, Panchami, Dhashami & Thrayodhashi” days, with the Nakshatras or Stars like Ashwini, Mrugashira, Purvashada, Pushya, Hastha, Chitra or Chittha, Swathi, Jyeshta, Shravana, Shathabhisha, Dhanishta, Revathi Nakshatras, if we cut the hairs or nails, then it is regarded as good and beneficial to increase the lifespan of an individual & his family as per the Ancient Hindu (Shastras) belief system. If there is an urgent need to perform a compulsory Hairs or Nails cut at an inappropriate “Thithi” or date, then to get rid of that “Dosha” or wrongdoing, on the next Correct and appropriate Day & “Thithi” or Hindu day the Hairs and Nails should be cut once again to get rid of the previous mistake and to beget a Better Lifespan for the adherents and their Family members.... read this one correctly before going to part 2...
