Sir, 20-30 years ago people used to home cooked food and three meals a day. They also used to move more. When the habits changed to eating more junk and exercise became less then cholesterol, diabetes, high blood pressure and other issues started. Best option is to eat healthy food and to get enough exercise to get back to normalcy. However because it is a challenge to change lifestyle, people get their health check so treatments can be done. High level of sugar and cholesterol over a long period of time can damage the endothelium layer and eventually lead to blockages, which in turn can cause heart problems. So, it is okay for you to preach lifestyle changes but do not diss the medical science and advise no medication.
