A lamp (diya) lit in the house goes off within 10 mins.
The weird observations-
1. Ample oil is in the diya.
2. The wick disapperars.
It's ashubha (inauspicious) or shubha (auspicious) signs ?
Lighting diya gives immense benefits. As described in Deepa Jotishya,
If the flame glows like a star then this denotes the success or completion of work wished within 8 days.
If the flame shakes - problems from relatives and friends
If the flame makes sound while glowing - death in blood-relation
If black colored flame is seen - victory of enemy
If the flame goes off suddenly - the head of the family will face loss or obstacles in work
If the flame of multiple diyas goes off - loss in all the work
WhiIe giving dana, one should light the diya and give. If the flame of the diya goes off while doing the procedure, then this will result in loss within short period.
After donating the lighted diya, if the flame goes off once kept then the giver will die soon/marana kantaka dosha.
If there is sparkling sound in the flame - Fear from Government officials
If there is humming sound from the flame - Loss in work
If oil leaks from the wick while glowing - theft in the house / chora bhaya
If oil leaks from diya - harm to pet animals
Should not light diya from another diya - Eye problems
If diya breaks - Death of the head of the family within 18 to 21 days
New wick can be added and lit while Diya is glowing - Success in all works / Karya siddhi
If cockroaches/rats/lizards makes the diyas fall around - Punishment/penalty from the government
