In my opinion don't add curry leaves. Why all are adding curry leaves to all non veg dishes in coastal region now a days? What she prepared is authentic Karnataka coastal style sukka. Olden days no one used curry leaves for non veg items. It's Kerala style. Curry leaves is only to enhance the flavour for vegetarian recipes. For non vegetarian dishes masala is different and the meat or fish itself gives distinct flavour when masala is mixed. Never loose our authenticity.

We don't have to always think of authenticity...Even good coastal restaurant add curry leaves and I feel the taste is just mind blowing... You don't like so don't add...chill!!
