This episode narrates the scenario of King Vishwamitra's failed attempt to take away Nandini from the ashram of Maharishi Vasishtha. It also narrates the episode of Vishwamitra's abdication of the royal throne and his attainment from the rank of Rajarshi to Brahmarshi, through his achievements.
