അത്ഭുതം ഈ മരുന്ന്
പ്രസിദ്ധമായ ഒരു നാടോടിക്കഥയുണ്ട്. ആദിയിൽ ദൈവം ലോകം സൃഷ്ടിച്ചപ്പോൾ ചിരിയില്ലായിരുന്നു പോൽ. ചിരിയില്ലാത്ത ലോകത്ത് അതിക്രമങ്ങൾ പെറ്റു പെരുകി. മനുഷ്യർ എപ്പോൾ തമ്മിൽ കണ്ടാലും ഒന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ് രണ്ടാമത്തേതിന് തല്ലും കുത്തുമായി.
സഹികെട്ട ജനങ്ങൾ ദൈവത്തോട് ഉള്ളുരുകി പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു. കണ്ണീരോടെ പരാതി പറഞ്ഞു. ഒടുവിൽ ദൈവം ആ പ്രാർത്ഥന കേട്ടു. അങ്ങനെ മനുഷ്യരുടെ സർവ്വ ദുരിതങ്ങൾക്കുമുള്ള മരുന്നായി ചിരി ഈ ലോകത്ത് അവതരിച്ചു. ചീത്ത പറയാനും തല്ലു കൂടാനും ഒരുങ്ങി വന്നവർ തമ്മിൽ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ ചിരിക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങി. അതോടെ അടിയും ഇടിയും കുറഞ്ഞു.അങ്ങനെ അതിക്രമങ്ങൾക്കും ഏറെ അറുതിയായി.
ദൈവം മനുഷ്യന് നൽകിയ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ സിദ്ധി ചിരി തന്നെയാണ്. അറിവും സമ്പത്തും എല്ലാം അതിന് താഴെയാണ്. സമ്പത്തുകൊണ്ട് ലോകം മുഴുവൻ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് വിലക്ക് വാങ്ങാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞേക്കാം. അറിവുകൊണ്ട് ലോകം മുഴുവൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ കാൽക്കീഴിയിൽ വന്നേക്കാം. എന്നാൽ അതൊന്നും തന്നെ ചിരിയിലും വലുതല്ല.
പ്രതിഫലം കിട്ടുന്ന പുണ്യകർമ്മമാണ് ചിരി എന്ന് നബി തിരുമേനി നമ്മെ പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. കേവലം നിസ്സാരമായ ഒരു ചിരി പോലും നമ്മെ സ്വർഗ്ഗാവകാശി ആർക്കുമെങ്കിൽ ആ ചിരിയുടെ മഹത്വം എത്ര വലുതായിരിക്കണം. .
എംടിയുടെ പ്രസിദ്ധമായ ഒരു സിനിമയുണ്ട് "ഒരു ചെറു പുഞ്ചിരി" എന്ന പേരിൽ. വാർദ്ധക്യത്തിന്റെ അവശതകൾക്കിടയിലും ജീവിതം ഒരു ചെറുപുഞ്ചിരി ആക്കി മാറ്റിയ ഒരു ദമ്പതികളുടെ പ്രകാശം പരത്തുന്ന കഥ. ഇണകളിൽ ഒരാൾ കൂട് ഒഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടും സങ്കട കടലിലേക്ക് വലിച്ചെറിയപ്പെടാതെ ബാക്കിയായ ജീവിതം ആ പഴയ പുഞ്ചിരിയുടെ തെളിച്ചത്തിൽ ജീവിച്ചു തീർക്കുന്ന മറ്റൊരാൾ.കഥ തീരുമ്പോൾ നമ്മുടെ മനസ്സിലും അറിയാതെ കണ്ണീരിന്റെ നനവുള്ള ഒരു ചെറു പുഞ്ചിരി വിരിയുന്നു.
ചിരിക്കുക, ചിരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടേ ഇരിക്കുക. ലോകം മുഴുവൻ നിങ്ങളോടൊപ്പം ചിരിക്കാനുണ്ടാവും.
