Reserve Bank of India has launched a digital currency (Central Bank Digital Currency) which is commonly called a digital rupee or e-rupee. This digital rupee has been launched as a pilot project as of now. Most people are confused about the difference between the digital rupee and UPI in India. This video explains the concept of digital currency and the difference between the digital rupee and UPI. Some people say that this is a cryptocurrency established by the government of India. But there are many differences between a crypto currency and the digital rupee by RBI. The differences between cryptocurrency and digital currency in India are explained in this video.
